Etsy Model of the Week

We all know that Etsy has amazing designers.  But could Etsy also be used to search for great models?  I think so....Whether they are professional models, friends of the designers, or the designers them selves. The models are the ones who truly sell the product.

This weeks model is shown wearing a scarf from Etsy designer necklush.   This model keeps her self looking fierce as if close up shots were easy.  I love the intense make up around the eyes, and even the dark lips.  It all allows for the true product (the scarf) to shine through.

Etsy Model of the Week

We all know that Etsy has amazing designers.  But could Etsy also be used to search for great models?  I think so....Whether they are professional models, friends of the designers, or the designers them selves. The models are the ones who truly sell the product.

This weeks model is featured in Etsy seller JacqleenBleu's photography shop.  I fell in love with the model in Karma Police because of her hair and eyes.  The way her hair is fallen over her face mixed with the harsh black make up really creates something beautiful!  Also the subtle colors of her skin and hair really look great in contrast to the bright clothing.

So, I am sitting in my school library "studying." No Im actually watching this seasons past runway shows that are always playing on a big flat screen. Ah you've gotta love fashion school. Anyways I was inspired for today's post by some amazing pairs of tight pants I saw in a few of the Summer 09 shows. So, I went on Etsy and found these... all from blackmarketbaby.

Moving Day!

Hello my lovelies!  I am feeling great today because I am in the midst of moving into my new Little Italy apartment with my boyfriend R and our dog B. Little Family.  Anyways even though I had already packed all my clothes, I was still determined to find the perfect moving day outfit.  You never know when you are  going to meet your new neighbors!

Etsy Model of the Week

Its that time of the week again! Etsy Model of the Week.  This weeks model it a bit different from last weeks model. She is looking fierce and edgy in her grey and black structured dress.  Her hair its tightly pulled back to reveal her beautiful big eyes! Harem Pants- Do or Don't?

Herem Pants or "hammer" pants are back!  I can't seem to decide if I should get a pair or not? Some of them are pretty cool looking!!  But they could be hard to pull off...Hmmm.  What are you thoughts? Comment.  Either way, here are some Herem pants I found on Etsy.

I think I'm in love...

So... what I learned about Herem pants is that if they are carefully styled with other great pieces they can definitely be a style DO!

Eyes for Ivory

Today while getting dressed, I noticed a total lack of one color in my wardrobe. Ivory. Don't get me wrong I have white, cream and every other color in between but not ivory. A perfect color for all year long! What was I thinking? You don't have to wait unitl your wedding to wear this color! So, after some always enjoyable searching on Etsy I found my Ivory dream peice.

Its a Silk Taffeta Ruffled Bolero by The English Dept.


How classy. I can think of so many occasions on where I could wear this, all year long.

The models are the ones who truly sell the clothes.  We look at the models to envision ourselves in the outfit.

The Romper

Romper: a one-piece garment combining a shirt or blouse and short. They are not just for young children anymore! Infact,the Romper is a definite must have for any fashionistas spring/summer wardrobe.
