5 Looks from the J.Crew Holiday Catalog That I'm Seriously Obsessed With

If I were to name a company that perfectly encompasses my personal style, it would definitely be J.Crew. Under the direction of their genius Creative Director, Jenna Lyons, they somehow manage to blur the lines between preppy perfection, and being fashion forward.  I was so inspired by the looks in their holiday catalogue, so I wanted to share my favorites with you...

The Perfect Holiday Outfit

Sorry for the serious lack in posting this month.  I've been finishing up my last few finals, which included 4 presentations, 3 lenghty papers and 4 grueling exams.  So, I needed a bit of a break from staring at a computer screen.  I hope you understand!

Alright, enough excuses, I've been waiting for the right time to post about Etsy seller, Allen Company Inc.  This Allentown, Pennsylvania based shop has some of my favorite vintage finds on all of Etsy! From stunning fur accessories to preppy toggle coats and pleated skirts, this shop has got preppy perfection down to a T.  Their casual yet dressy pieces are perfect for the holidays!  I've rounded up my favorites and came up with a sweet holiday look.

Vintage Mannequins

I have always had an obsession with vintage dress forms.  They are fun to accessorize and instantly add character to any room.  I definitely look forward to owning my own one day.  It was so hard for me to just pick a few pictures to post!  Be sure to  check out Etsy seller, Corset Laced  Mannequin for more!Polkadot Vintage Floral Print Mannequin Dressform Bust - Amelia

Chilly-Weather-Wear

Even though we haven't reached Thanksgiving yet, New York has been feeling especially chilly.  And yes, I am completely referring to the rouge snowstorm we had last weekend!  Once I felt the snow hit my face again, I cringed at the thought of winter weather. However, until we reach sub zero tempurtures, I'm going to try and enjoy the chilly weather and layer up with chunky knit sweaters, bow blouses and preppy collared shirts.  Ah, living the life. Oatmeal wool Saks swing coat // vintage womens 50s cream winter coat
